Memetic production of protest signs

Master graduation project.
Internet memes and protest signs follows the same principles of memetic production. This digital archive collects protest sign from the Women's March of January 2016 and points at all the references in them. Shared culture (movies, music, historical events...) play an important role in the slogan of peaceful protests.
The aesthetic of the website is a reference to amateur design, that sometimes (like in the case of the protest signs) can be more effective than professional design.
